Happy Days ...

Before setting off for Turkey, the youngsters in Queen's Park's' Da Vinci Class of 2012 were asked to fill in a questionnaire. The purpose of the exercise was to gain some insight into their reaction to being chosen to go on the trip, as well as an idea of their expectations.

It will come as no surprise to find the unanimous feeling was one of delight. But here's a selection of the comments gleaned from the questionnaire.

Aidan Connolly: QP 16/17 Squad. Signed for the club in 2008

Sixteen-year-old Aidan was "surprised, but excited" to be given the opportunity to get a feel of what it would be like to be a full-time footballer.

He added: " The players I have spoken to who were on previous Da Vinci trips said the facilities were fantastic.

"I hope the trip will help me get to know the game a little better. In the long run, my footballing objectives are to work hard at my game - both in and out of training - become a better player, and be harder for opposing teams to handle.
